Education

Sunday Morning Adult Education Opportunities

At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, when your children are learning about God at J.A.M. (Jesus And Me) Time, you can grow in your relationship with God and with other Christians in one of our 2 Sunday morning education class.

Pastor Bernecker is leading a video series featuring renowned teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan. Filmed on location, this series uncovers Biblical history in a meaningful and impacting way.  Just as the time and place of our birth and life shapes our journey, so the land and culture of the Hebrew people shaped their story. In this series, discover how God guided His people to a specific place (the Promised Land) to impact the world both in ancient times and today.

Joe Wampfler will lead a study on Lee Stroebel's books, "The Case for Christ" and "The Case for Faith" in the library.  Stroebel, an award winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and a spiritual skeptic until 1981, used his investigative skills to explore Christianity, asking "just who is this Jesus?" and "what is faith?".  This study will help you systematically walk through logical reasoning in issues of faith and of belief in Jesus, as the Savior.

JUMP INTO THIS STUDY & GROW CLOSER TO GOD!

J.A.M.  (Jesus And Me) Time

J.A.M. Time is a time to learn about God and grow closer to Him and to one another for all children age 3 through 8th grade.  At J.A.M. Time, students learn Bible stories that are related to their day-to-day life.

Preschool through 4th graders enjoy learning and exploring the Bible story and Bible point for the day in a large group setting initially.  They sing songs, and actively participate in learning the Bible story.  Later, they move into small groups, applying their learning into their lives through games, craft projects, and a take-home journal.  This journal provides children & their families with one more way to extend the learning from that week.  It includes challenges for students to incorporate what they've learned into their daily life.

Students in grades 5-8 also learn from the Bible in a hands-on, active way, but are also encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussion to help drive home the Bible learning.

J.A.M. Time is fun, but best of all, J.A.M. Time helps us all to grow in our relationship with God!

You and your family are invited to join us for J.A.M. Time on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
